ADAC GT Masters: Car Collection Motorsport announces driver lineup!

Car Collection Motorsport returns to the ADAC GT Masters in 2018. With Christopher Friedrich and Lance David Arnold the team from Rheingau could win a powerful duo.

The league of the super sports cars is considered the most popular and prestigious GT racing series in Europe and is extremely popular not least because of the extremely strong number of participants and the great media interest. 23-year-old Christopher Friedrich is now in his second year in the ADAC GT Masters. Right in his debut year, the likable Darmstadt rode into the top ten of the junior trophy and showed a tremendous development over the past year.

Christopher Friedrich: „I’m happy to be back in the GT Masters this year as well. I made a good progress last season and I’m happy to be able to make a start in 2018 with Car Collection Motorsport and Lance. I am sure that I will be able to benefit a lot from his and the teams experience so that I once again develop my skills this year. It’s hard to wait for the first tests and I would like to say a big thank you to my sponsor SML Car Wellness, without whom all this would not be possible.“

His team-mate for the 2018 season is Lance David Arnold. The 31-year-old from Duisburg is not only a successful racing driver, but also an instructor and TV presenter. The former Porsche Junior started last in 2012 in the league of super sports cars. In recent years, he has been driving predominantly in the VLN Endurance Championship and the ADAC Zurich 24H race and is today one of the best endurance drivers.

Lance David Arnold: „I’m looking forward to the upcoming program, with an experienced team and a young and fast driver we have a great base for an exciting year. The coaching theme also closes the circle to Speed Monkeys. Here it is our task to support, pass on experiences and work for success together with the pilots.“

The season opener of the ADAC GT Masters will take place from 13th to 15th of April 2018 in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Then it continues at the Czech Most, at the legendary Red Bull Ring in Austria, at the Nürburgring, on the North Sea coast at the Dutch Zandvoort and at the Sachsenring before it goes to Hockenheim from 21st to 23rd of September for the season finale. All races will be broadcast live on Sport1. If you want to experience the atmosphere on your own body, you can book VIP packages at Car Collection Motorsport. Peter Schmidt: „We are looking forward to returning to the ADAC GT Masters. With Christopher and Lance David we won a great pair of drivers. Christopher has shown tremendous development over the past year. With Lance at his side, he has an ideal coach and mentor. With his enormous experience he will be able to tickle some more out of Christopher.“
